today, began notice mbp running bit slower usual. after couple hours of use, noticed running lot hotter usual. laptop running @ 170f 30% cpu usage. didn't make of it, , considered anomaly. later on in day, noticed began realize fan running lot slower usual @ higher temperatures. running @ 2000-3000rpm regardless of temperature of laptop or how intensive activity doing. first thought "oh great, fans must broken , i'll have bring shop , go through again...". had fans die on old macbook, , didn't want deal again. test fans, downloaded smcfancontrol , manually set fans run @ 6200rpm. sure enough, manually setting 6200rpm sped fan. knew fans working , reach higher speeds. next? tried restart. nothing changed. now? well, knew smc involved fan/temperature control, , reset it. did that. reset smc. still no change. started playing around fans using smcfancontrol , noticed no matter minimum speed set @ temperature,...

i listen music on go , not ever on computer. plan free space (a lot of space) on computer , load songs onto ipod classic , delete have in itunes, etc. (i never use it). know can individually add songs ipod dragging them in. hi all, been confused week transfer rate on local area network through wifi. downloaded plenty of videos internet on pc , transfer these videos mac. @ beginning, use thumb drive copy videos , paste on mac.
