the text small on macbook pro! want larger text better readability , i'm confounded why should difficult achieve. happy text size (and quality) on old 2008 macbook pro running tiger, not on new (late june 2012) hires matt mbp running lion. have both machines next each other , small text appears have decreased 2 point sizes on 4 years. know font size adjustable in individual apps, doesn’t change size in menu bars. guess 70% of apps cannot adjusted. besides, run windows under parallels , many windows apps have tiny text. tinkertool system , quartz utilities don't work me. have or working on user-friendly solution please? guess system-wide font increase of approx 20% ok. still have option return new hires macbook pro or exchange retina. however, prefer keep mine because want matt screen , dvd drive. also, i'm uncertain whether achieve goal retina display. avoid digression, appreciate on-topic responses , not persuaders why should buy ...

i go biking 3-4 times week long distances , i've been looking armband or mount fit either iphone 4 or ipod touch 2g. keep iphone in small pouch under seat can track rides using cyclemeter. i wanted post on here initial impressions might interested. got new 13" 256ssd 8gb air , i'm in love. upgraded late '06 macbook , difference huge. have samsung ssd , getting 400 write speeds , 450 read speeds. incredible. opens 22 mb photo launching photoshop cs4 in under 5 seconds. don't have games test out, overall air flies. i've timed cold boot useable in 11 seconds. haven't heard fans once, though haven't put through paces yet. amazing haven't heard @ all. , me, heat....what heat. don't want sound blind fanboy. love machine , haven't found single fault yet. did have 6 year update fall in lap oh , if can, amex doing 5x points. def way go. if have questions i'd more willing answer them. let me know , i'll try answer can. chris.   congrats on purchase! yours i5 or i7? , think it's time update signature ...
