Who still thinks thunderbolt is pointless?

just having conversation on thread , still think thunderbolt being shoved down our throats. after 1.5yrs there handful of peripherals, being overpriced external hard drives.

understand direction towards professionals, ones may necessitate them, still feel apple , intel have both failed @ new technology.

in next 3 years windows pc gains thunderbolt seeing thunderbolt devices @ lower cost.
