install chrome dev channel, go about:flags , find render pages in gpu, , enable threaded rendering.
if want, disable vsync that's not big of performance improvement.
restart chrome.
pages render @ 60fps (turn on fps counter check) , 70fps once vsync disabled.
lowest saw around 30-40fps, , caused overlaid div issues or semi transparent div backgrounds (again think software issue solved) needless scrolling issues have disappeared , forget i'm using retina display.
wait till software matures computer, people quick jump gun.
if can run diablo 3 on 2880x1800 @ 20 fps, i'm sure can render text on screen. software issue that'll improve on time, not hardware problem.
people jump on "lets blame hardware" bandwagon.
what cpu/gpu temperatures , battery drain when these things enabled? gpu being used, internal 1 or dedicated one?
