Apple Developer Program Questions

hi,

i'm avid , knowledgable ios, idevice, , apple fan. run youtube channel on apple, app reviews, tweak reviews, etc. , i've been following apple, iphones, ipads, apps, etc. years now. i'm starting interested in app development , bought book on introducing me xcode, ios development , objective c++. book recommends in-book tutorials purchase developer account apple can see how works on devices. plan begin creating , testing own application before summer's out , convenience of youtube channel i'd receive ios betas (e.g., ios 6 b1 tomorrow.) investment? since i'd begin developing , testing in few months , use ios betas. thanks!

p.s. need purchase apple developer account or ios developer account? , what's difference?

 

actually it's objective c (no ++ on end)

developer account $99/year, issue want save $8.xx/month few months... it's cost of lunch each month...

don't need account until need test on device. can learn huge amount using simulator. there's huge amount learn in objc, programming, oo, api, device functions, etc...
it's not overnight thing, it's more of long term investment.

far account types, there's few different types. ios needed iphone/ipad/ipod. doesn't give macos rights. sounds want ios account.
