iPhone 4s excessive heat

hey guys

sorry if has been brought up, did forum search , couldn't find really.

have iphone 4s , love it! have had since launch day , have had 0 problems until recently. have noticed on past few weeks maybe month, @ randoms times iphone extremely hot, point either have put down or hands begins sweat profusely , sort of feel it's being burned. running on ios 5.0.1 , jailbroken, not have tweaks installed other intelliscreen x , aero (that fancy app switcher). assume heat issue not coming jailbreak.

installed battery app (from cydia, called battery detective) gives diagnostics of battery , have been following , checking app every time phone begins heat up. on last week have been taking notes running during time of excessive heat (imo) phone.

far hottest phone has gotten 105 degrees (not plugged in). have not received warning overheating phone itself. battery drain @ point around 800ma-850ma , ram free around 150mb , thing running @ time facebook, twitter, safari , music application. music not being played , active app using safari. during times of extreme heat imagined, battery drained extremely between 4-6% every 10 minutes. heat spikes @ random times while not being used, example while sitting in pocket or on desk. don't know if important, during times of extreme heat, if listen closely, can hear assume processor in phone, sort of makes high pitch clicking noise occasionally. don't know if normal or not why mentioned it.

phone has not been dropped , has not been in water. not in case , thing have on screen protector (front & back) , blue bumper.


don't have enabled. bluetooth , wifi turned off, in area great 3g coverage , pretty decent service (for vermont anyways =) ). speed tests have gone high 2.5 mbps (which great verizon). have pushed set manually , diagnostic tools apples has implemented turned off. phone isn't laggy or , when isn't extremely hot, battery life pretty good.

understand heat generated while phone in use, , expect these results while playing intensive games, don't play games on phone (that's ipad =) ) guys opinion this. of restored along time ago, phone being jailbroken sort of makes difficult come grips restore. have done resets, such network, settings , numerous hard resets.

hope guys can , if need additional information more willing give it!

p.s if worse comes worse restore wondering if guys had other ideas.

 

i find mine gets hotter hell when there's poor signal (most of time seems) , phone tries relentlessly keep connected. streaming radio 1 culprit , waze burns phone up. it's get's hot using waze, can barely hold , can watch battery drop right before eyes.
