"Fuzzy" text, MBP 15" hi-res AG....?

just picked new 15" mbp high-res anti-glare screen , getting familiarized mac os x....(first time mac user) - sweet machine!

1 thing has got me perplexed perceive fuzzy text; doesn't matter application i'm using, text looks blurry, took fine-grit sandpaper , fuzzed font.

i've tried playing font size, enabling , disabling font smoothing in general preferences, changing text colour in firefox, , while changes bit, root problem there.

i'm kinda stressed may function of ag coating, perhaps somehow affecting contrast, never had chance try glossy in hi-res before ordering, difference? thing gets me images crystal sharp , spectacular - it's text!

on last 10 years i've used 1074x768 12" 1950x1200 15" , never had happen. it's bad enough eyes tired , it's starting give me head-ache. noticed intangible when tried in store, chalked eyes being tired , crazy bright lighting in store....

i'm using bit @ home , wallet many dollars lighter i'm starting panic....i pimped out machine big ssd, maxed out ram, etc, , really, else, real problem spend hours in front of computer @ time....

else have experience? compared glossy , ag in high-res text readability? there cleartype text tuning utility mac windows?

in advance!

the antiglare screens not have coating on them; matte lcd screens.

in system preferences > general, "use lcd font smoothing when available" (at bottom of menu) checked?

mac os x not support resolution independence, while may have used higher dpi displays previously, text on new macbook pro still appear smaller or fuzzier. had same issues (headaches, eye strain) when first purchased 15" antiglare macbook pro, ceased after couple of days.
