hi there folks,
have been iphone user since iphone 3g , owned every iphone iteration ever since.
in meantime check out competing android phones before each upgrade see if caught iphone. deal breaker me android phones didn't have fluid ui iphone.
after seeing leaked images of iphone 5 parts, decided jump ship. making phone taller doesn't cut me. use phone in portrait mode 95 percent of time , not increasing width deal breaker.
have bought international version of samsung galaxy s3 quad-core cpu.
liked s3:
1. amazing 4.8 inch screen. before bought s3, had carry ipad in case if needed surf net on go because surfing on 3.5 screen uncomfortable. since have s3, haven't touched ipad weeks. while 4.8 screen can't replace ipad, it's usable enough not have carry ipad wherever go.
2. can access files on device(it has file manager).
3. can transfer files on bluetooth.
4. don't have use itunes, can drag , drop mp3 files onto device thump drive.
5. has "true" multi-tasking.
6. android doesn't lag in ui used in 2.2 , 2.3. overall ui fluid iphone's
miss on s3:
1. ios copy , paste arguable more usable, maybe not used android's implementation yet.
2. better selection of games in app store.
overall tired of same old ios. after seeing ios 6 announcement, realized how far ahead android is.
@ rate of people jumping ship, worried if apple.
not bashing apple, love products, couldn't wait 1-2 years until add features have been available on android since 2.3
the things point making me switch either android or win7 phones theres other thing consider atleast me regarding money spent in appstore plus "solid" integration other apple devices , macs.
sure update post after more days of usage, im sure theres lot of interested miss or have replaced.
