Need software to see where my space went

i have 13 inches mba 2011 128gig

have 20gig left on hdd

have 30gig of vms
, 15gig of pictures + music

makes 65gig should have more space left, there software (free if possible) inspect hdd , tell mw taking space

for space issues not explained above, there few things can try, of may or may not apply:

• begin restarting computer first step. resolves issues.
• for time machine users on notebooks running lion, space may being consumed time machine local snapshots, can disabled.
  os x lion: time machine's "local snapshots" on portable macs
• search finder see if space being consumed large file or several large files. adjust 50gb in illustration whatever size deem appropriate.

• use omnidisksweeper, jdisk report, disk inventory x, daisydisk or grandperspective see how space being used on drive. of these apps may show more detail others, try several.
• check drive disk utility: using disk utility verify or repair disks
• try re-indexing drive: spotlight: how re-index folders or volumes
