Next iPhone to Have Thinner, Higher Quality Screen

the wall street journal reports next generation iphone use "in-cell" technology make screen thinner. in fact, claim mass production of screens has started.
the technology integrates touch sensors lcd thereby removing separate component layer touch-screen. aside reduced thickness, improve image quality. the wall street journal claims reduce apple's costs eliminating separate suppliers each component.

reports of apple's interest in "in-cell" technology not new first reports in april. kgi securities analyst ming-chi kuo took detailed look @ technology , suggested new iphone @ least 1.4mm slimmer iphone 4s.

while part of thickness savings come in-cell technology, apple reduce thickness of battery , use thinner metal casing.

i hope don't use metal back....i've grown used glass, suppose make more robust device....the thing prevent me doing usual upgrade on release day screen..if apple not substantially increase size, see little point in buying replacement 4s happily run ios6 anyway. images fine, , thickness although not of issue me, increases quality of device thing. but, no screen hike=no upgrade.
