2011 MBP OWC DD Dual Samsung 830s

i own 2011 15" macbook pro 2.3ghz quad-core intel i7, 16gb corsair vengeance 1600mhz, 480gb owc mercury extreme pro 6g. have owc data doubler, 256gb samsung 830 ssd, 512gb samsung 830 ssd, , 750gb wd scorpio black 7200rpm sitting on shelf. ideally, have 256gb samsung 830 osx drive , symbolic link movies , pictures directories 512gb samsung 830 in optical bay via owc data doubler. have recent firmware updates made sata iii 6.0gbps ssds stable in optical bay?

otherwise, 480gb owc mercury extreme pro 6g stay in main drive bay , 750gb wd scorpio black 7200rpm go in optical bay owc data doubler. why? prefer less faster , silent storage on noisy power hungry mechanical drive.

to knowledge optibay issue has not been resolved allow 6gb speeds. however, there recent post member 13" mbp stated running 6gb speed in both bays. think there never problem 13" negotiating these speeds. also, if search there member posted rather thorough work around did allowed both bays run @ sata iii speeds. try , locate post , link it. luck , btw you've got "killer" gear @ disposal.
