so i'm not quite @ point of having nas in next year or so. i'd keep in mind eventual migration of itunes library on the nas not of import right now.
music: 100gb
movies: 365gb
tv shows: 608gb
have music on separate drive form itunes folder , manage myself. (after ripping cd or something, copy files onto music drive , drag them itunes) purchase of more , more music itunes (and since upgrading bitrate of matched music) find want let itunes managed music. , copy import itunes itunes library can eliminate step or two.
so, question is, how can , still retain movies , tv shows on separate drives? when moved itunes library blank 500gb drive , told consolidate files, pops error says disk isn't big enough. valid considering extensive video collection.
ideas?
(sorry soapbox)
if understand correctly, having similar issue user, take quick @ thread, got tell itune no copy files library , can have multiple hds media.
