Thunderbolt Display - New model coming? - Issues with old resolved?

i bought first mac, er, actually, first mac since '85 precise. avid windows user , won't going "native" anytime soon. bought rmbp 16gb , 512gb can run vmware fusion , run virtualized windows pcs on designed, powerful hardware. (no idea whether i'll and/or use mac osx in daily life or if i'll use vms)

question preambles:

understand rmbp uses new power connector different 1 used big 27" thunderbolt display's provided laptop charging cord.

read numerous reviews thunderbolt display reported lots of problems windows , osx regarding waking sleep , other such nonsense. negative reviews old, @ least 1 year.

questions:

1. thunderbolt display on target refresh anytime based on predictable launches of products?

2. current thunderbolt display stable bugs worked out, or same known issues older reviews still present? (e.g. firmware updates?)

3. believe next thunderbolt display comes along have updated power charging magsafe 2 pinout rmbp?

patience answering lot of questions new world of mac.

they make converter let plug new macs old power supplies. cost $10 (i'm using 1 right now)

there "buyer's guide" section @ top of page. thunderbolt display seems included in cinema display section.
http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#apple_cinema_display
first article there, says "apple including free magsafe 2 converter thunderbolt display"

until more of models update magsafe 2, or come out magsafe 2->1 convertor, see them staying magsafe 1, included convertor.

new models including usb3, refresh include pretty wouldn't out of question.
