iPhone Using an AT&T iPhone 4s (baseband 2.0.12) in UK + questions about gevey sim

hello! i've searched few threads , online, haven't been able find specific answer questions.

wanted take at&t on-contract iphone 4s uk , purchase micro-sim card (maybe vodafone/o2). in past i've paid at&t international data & calling plan quite bit more expensive pay go sim card plan uk carrier.

i'm not quite sure options are, , have few questions depending on option take.

1) gevey ultra s sim card unlock iphone 4s
understand, way can unlock 4s baseband 2.0.12 (other purchasing unlocked version) use gevey ultra s sim. i'm thinking of biting bullet , purchasing one.

questions are:
a) provided can purchase micro-sim card uk carrier (i have family in uk, there no issue credit-checking, can buy me micro-sim) after insert sim card + gevey module iphone, settings need change. read online changing apn settings, how can find out? problem is, it's impossible me test out until go uk, , then, might late, internet access spotty.
b) can keep sim card/gevey sim module couple of years, , top off micro sim whenever want travel uk (i/family go every year)?
c) when in us, can remove gevey sim module/uk microsim , insert original sim card without problems? might have change apn settings, that's ok. question is, at&t find out , complain? need remove gevey sim? can keep in iphone forever?
d) iphone 4s need jailbroken use gevey ultra s sim module? believe or not, wasn't able find clear answer question.
e) can gevey sim (ultra s) work iphone4? idea can use in phone (and maybe future phones?). way family member can use in iphone, regardless of if 3g/3gs/4/4s? think answer question resounding no.

2) there other way unlock iphone 4s? have previous iphone 3g ask at&t unlock free, thing pretty slow/out of date, , painful use.

help/feedback these questions. know i'm asking lot!

 

sorry bump (after 2 days), since i'm leaving in few days, i'm not sure how longer can wait gevey card shipped. better off buying international plan?
