early 2011 15-inch macbook pro, os x lion 10.7.4
reason shutting down computer or restarting takes long time. have crucial m4 ssd , boot time fast. looked @ log between shutting down , rebooting , there 1 error. here console issuing reboot command next boot. there minute between shutdown command , actual shutdown no console messages during time. how can find out what's taking long?
code:
7/14/12 7:01:31.599 pm shutdown: reboot jniehus: 7/14/12 7:01:31.599 pm shutdown: shutdown_time: 1342317691 598780 7/14/12 7:01:31.000 pm kernel: kext loading disabled. 7/14/12 7:01:31.000 pm kernel: kext unloading disabled. 7/14/12 7:01:31.000 pm kernel: kext autounloading disabled. 7/14/12 7:01:31.000 pm kernel: kernel requests disabled. 7/14/12 7:01:31.603 pm usereventagent: captivenetworksupport:useragentdied:139 user agent @port=19463 died 7/14/12 7:02:30.000 pm bootlog: boot_time 1342317750 0
another detail... takes 10 seconds or grey screen rotating/pulsing "loading circle" symbol, takes 45 seconds or shut down. i'll hard reset when gets symbol, isn't entirely safe i'm sure, have time machine backup.
