Much Worse Resale Value - MBA

i'm dissapointed @ current resale value of mba's compared mbp's released in same year.

bought used mbp's @ great deal on cl , ebay , sold them after several months year of usage @ same price or little less (again said bought them @ great price after fair amount of searching , negotiating). however, first mba bought earlier year, 2011 mba 13 i5 256gb warranty till jan 2013, had resale value dropped significantly. paid $1,175 in march , it's worth $1,000-1,100 now. it's supply , demand in used macbook market meaning there lot more people wanting mbp's mba's , mba owners upgrade machine more often..
