i replaced superdrive in macbook (13-inch, aluminum, late 2008) 320gb hard drive. replaced hard drive 64gb ssd. did april, , switched default configuration. (160gb apple branded drive , superdrive) switched because having battery issues. wasn't reading times correctly , told me go apple, said "you did great job on mod, hard drive teasing battery. remove , should good!" removed it. ran out of space. computer slow on boot , wake. figured go mod , deal side effects.
wednesday night installed hard drives. closed didn't have time move things around. today, friday, decided tackle it. hooked 160gb drive sata->usb adapter. booted it. copied home folder 160gb 320gb. made 320gb default home folder.
rebooted external 160gb. opened carbon copy cloner , closed entire drive onto ssd. (after put music , movies seprate partition, 1 cloning 65.xxgb.) formatted capacity of ssd 64.xxgb. in ccc unchecked home folder. cloned it. ccc said there not enough space, proceeded anyway. cloned , shut down.
unplugged usb drive. pushed power button. 1.5 minute boot, should 30 seconds ssd. tried using magic mouse. didn't work, bluetooth doesn't work. says bluetooth hardware can't found when try start bluetooth system preferences. thought maybe needed update, knew 10.7.4 came out , decided upgrade. downloaded it, installed, rebooted, 2 minute boot. let sit, , no difference.
next?
