Intel Officially Launches First Quad-Core Ivy Bridge Processors

in line rumored april 23 launch date, bbc news reports intel has officially introduced first batch of next-generation ivy bridge processors. processors intel's first use 22-nm manufacturing process , "tri-gate" technology of 3d transistors reduce power , increase efficiency.

initial launch consists of 13 quad-core processors, focused on desktop market, although several mobile processors appropriate revised 15-inch , 17-inch macbook pro models included in launch. dual-core chips appropriate smaller notebooks follow "later spring", previous rumors having pegged launch date june 3.
in addition power , efficiency gains made possible tri-gate technology, ivy bridge benefit enhanced integrated graphics performance compared sandy bridge, supporting higher-resolution hardware , content, improving transcoding rates. ivy bridge brings new hardware security features , native support usb 3.0.

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
