Aperture 3 - how stable is it?

just bought myself new mbp (with 8gb ram) upgrade 4 year old macbook.
iphoto library growing steadily (a few thousand pictures @ present), , i've been considering aperture 3.

idea of more manual control on organisation of photos, plus additional editing features.

however, reading various reviews on mac app store , elsewhere, i'm concerned number of people reporting regular crashes, memory leaks , on.

know people complaint tend far more vocal happy, it's entirely possible it's small noisy minority having trouble, while people bug-free.

wondered people's experiences were, whether may worth waiting aperture 4, or indeed sticking iphoto?

price, if aperture 3 stable, i'd have tomorrow, few things annoy me more buggy software.

out there care comment on experiences, or bad?

cheers!

i'd wait. odds if bought 3 you'd have pay full 4; note there aren't upgrades in app store.

have recommended try demo, it's gone. i'd wait bit, , in meantime try demo of lightroom :d

haven't found aperture 3 buggy; slow on occasion, not bad problem. it's idea compare lr anyway.
