last year, both at&t , verizon acknowledged working on offering shared data plans, allow multiple devices owned single user or members of family draw data single monthly allotment. while there has been evidence verizon making progress on plans, at&t has been relatively quiet efforts aside acknowledging billing , other issues complicating work.

cnet reports, however, at&t may close launching shared data plans. news comes at&t mobility ceo ralph de la vega, indicates carrier knows intends offer customers.
shared "family plans" voice minutes have been available quite time, , similar mechanism sharing data seems natural evolution. aside sharing data among family members, individuals see benefit plans, allow them subscribe single monthly data allotment used iphone, ipad, , perhaps usb modem or mobile hotspot device.
