Adobe Launches Creative Cloud and Muse, Augments iOS App Offerings

in line creative suite 6 announcement earlier week, adobe today launched creative cloud subscription service. part of creative cloud debut, adobe has publicly debuted muse, subscription-based website creation package allow users create websites without needing know html. muse has been in public beta since last august.

individual pricing creative cloud set @ $49.99 per month annual commitment or $74.99 on month-to-month basis. muse included in package, available standalone subscription product priced @ $14.99 per month annual commitment or $24.99 on month-to-month basis.

adobe's creative cloud launch has seen several improvements company's suite of ios applications, including launch of 2 new ipad apps: adobe proto [app store] , adobe collage [app store]. plans 2 apps announced last october part of adobe's push tablet apps.

proto protoyping tool allows users create wireframes of websites , apps right on ipads using touch gestures, while collage mood board app allowing users combine images, video, , text define creative concepts , share them others. adobe has updated existing photoshop touch [app store] , ideas [app store].

4 ios apps, priced @ $9.99 each, integrate new creative cloud services, including free level of support offers 2 gb of cloud-based file storage allow syncing of documents across applications.

being "tech guy" of house, brother has requested upgrade 4,1 mac pro. has: 2 x 2.26 quad-core xenons 12 gb ram 3 x geforce gt 120 4 x 2 tb hdd's in software raid 10 80 gb ssd in 1 of optical bays boot disk. uses computer video editing, in final cut pro x, he'll dabble in adobe suite. said wants more speed , needs less storage; i.e., doesn't need main drive more 2 tb. budget not issue here, future-proofing is: don't want have upgrade long time. ram upgrade simple enough, right? head on owc , grab 24 or 32 gb of whatever goes 4,1 generation mac pro. video cards know next nothing about. don't quite understand why he's got 3 of them for; monitor 30 in. cinema display. should upgrade video card(s)? maybe raedon 5770 or 5870? feel video editing isn't gpu-intensive, if is, please tell me so. now, fun part storage. figure best solution 4 new ssd's replace 12 tb ones, , stick ssds in raid 0. question is: n...
