iSkin Solo Smart for new iPad

i received case last week, bought directly iskin.com, , happy it. haven't seen many reviews, thought write up.

let's obvious out of way. tpu case, , people may find expensive is. costs $50. however, if "like" iskin on facebook, 15% discount on every purchase make, makes little bit less expensive.

case fits nicely. easy put in (bottom first), , looks , feels good. ordered black one, although think if called "smoke", more accurate. designed work apple smart cover, , locks in. know not likes that, love it. functionality of smart cover not hindered @ case.

grip good, because has rubbery feel. on/off switch, , volume buttons covered, work fine (you have push lithe bit harder, work fine). also, case has covers headphone jack , dock connector. people might find annoying, (less dust going in holes). speaker partially covered (around 20%), sound doesn't seem affected.

corners of ipad covered, offers protection. though borders of case raised above surface of ipad bezel, doesn't bother me when holding ipad in hand. also, though borders raised, smart cover stays in place when turning ipad (the magnet still holds in place).

overall, happy purchase. used have yoobao executive leather case, annoyed ipad moving inside when putting in standing position, , auto on/off feature cover did not work consistently. combo of iskin solo smart + apple smart cover needed. price may concern, think last case buy.

ps: before got case tried splash vapor ii, cheap version of one. felt cheap, looked dirty, , got wrong color sent. when emailed splash products return it, never answered. cheaper, though ($20).

 

i have been waiting see post iskin well. on waiting list solo , have been using mine couple months. no complaints, covers corners, great fit, great feel , compliments smart cover keeping in place. have been fan of iskin products since first ipod. little expensive @ protecting. thumbs iskin!
