PS4 User crawling out the woodwork with my G4. Next Move ???

consider. here situation, don't laugh, oh go on then.

current hardware;

hardware 14' ibook g4 (2004)
processor 1.33 ghz powerpc
memory 256 mb built-in
osx 10.4.11
used cs4

camera: canon 550d/t2i
printer/scanner/copier: canon mg5150

here quandary

hardware feels living in retirement home trying dance 18 year old, falling , hoping can without noticing. processor having hot flushes every day. new camera & printer. not concerned staying on bleeding edge can see happy clot, evident dinosaur set up. other itunes/surfing/facebook/youtube. main usage promoting myself artist on (free websites). critically important usage cs4, photoshop. because g4 maxed out, i've tried stripping down form bloating yet cs4 running it's using zimmer/walking aid frame. not sure purge isn't mission critical regain ram.

invested in canon camera 550d/t2i make raw files of art , prep them in ps4 print ready poster/printed canvas orders a1 in size, offset lack of original art sales. although dng convertor 6.3 software converts t2i raw files ps4 use on os x 10.4.11 downloaded today, it's not going work vintage mac living above it's weight in virtual retirement home.

adobe , apple looove credit card umbilically attached 'them' frustrsting , historical upgrade options serious users. people have had offload ppc systems intel keep knife. understand 2011 systems quick intel quad processors , sandy bridge cpu on 2010. not tech savvy don't understand important have needs. how important size of ati hd or graphic mb cards etc. configurations make me dizzy. if simplify this g4 survivor. adore ;-)

1 lose osx 10.4.11 adobe software choosing intel base , upgradings osx ?
2 not gamer, don't need on spend on unnecessary power, although working large raw photo files , want years of file saving capacity. create/design photoshop , intend tread waters ps illustrator.
3 budget £1,000 ata max push prefer stay around £500/700. weather new, used, or refurb. after extensive research first thought yep powerbook pro, read more , thought yep imac 27'screen. read more , thought nope mac mini led samsung monitor. want suck thumb , mumble. !!!
4 have missed , have made sense ? lol

oh might add downloading 'genuine fractals' enlarging files print ready. consider upgrading cs5 if came bundled used/new/refurb hardware. cheers

 

i recommend buying refurb based on budget. may have hard time getting 27" 21.5" quad core i5 leaps , better have now. lose current software because formatted powerpc , not going compatible intel machine. wrong understanding of software situation.
