Macbook Pro 13" i5 or i7?

alright here's predicament. since no new imac came out after doing thinking came conclusion nice have first mac portable go mb pro , refurb. thunderbolt 27" display. educational discounts , tax comes out around $2150. not bad. that's i5 though. i'm photographer i'll in photoshop , lightroom. besides regular web browsing , things of nature.

i5 serve me , nice , fast? or i7 worth few hundred dollars because makes such difference? i'm trying keep costs low possible while still getting setup want. notice difference between 2 working in cs5? i'm on year old toshiba laptop 2.3ghz i5 , ****** graphics card. apple display , os better windows , think it's time upgrade. thank help.

i7 not worth it. if getting 13" mbp. buy basic model , upgrade ram , buy third party ssd. you'll notice drastic difference in speed. update ram 8gb , 256 ssd. should still come out less i7 13" mbp. processor upgrade not worth it, trust me.

, if want, can save $100 on thunderbolt display , more on ram , ssd if buy ebay.
