noticed apple bitch, chinese parts vendor tvc-mall has begun offering "iphone 5" home buttons sale in both black , white. report doesn't mention buttons indeed different round home buttons seen on ios devices date.

the new home buttons appear have rounded square shape ios app icons, retain round depression button seen in existing devices. tvc-mall notes distinction in product description:

it is, however, unclear product images whether design change noticeable users. specifically, not clear whether rounded square portion of button flush surface of device round portion depressed or if rounded square portion might below surface of device , invisible user small edges , "wings" of current iphone home button design.

we suspect that rounded square portion of new home button lie below surface of iphone, serving hold button in place while remaining invisible user. in scenario, standard round home button portion protrude through surface of device accessed user.

in either case, appears rumors of apple removing home button entirely or replacing touch-senstive button larger gesture area once again unfounded. such rumors have become common in months leading launch of each new ios device, apple has maintained contestant iconic presence of home button introduced on original iphone through each new product release.

tvc-mall has history of leaking minor genuine ios device parts ahead of products' official introductions, yielding hope parts next-generation iphone beginning surface apple's supply chain. if parts genuine, may suggest apple looking toward ramping production of device, although these leaks come many months ahead of production.

update: home buttons listed sale in both black , white @ truesupplier, , images posted there more show rounded square lie behind front of device , serve hold home button in place.

being "tech guy" of house, brother has requested upgrade 4,1 mac pro. has: 2 x 2.26 quad-core xenons 12 gb ram 3 x geforce gt 120 4 x 2 tb hdd's in software raid 10 80 gb ssd in 1 of optical bays boot disk. uses computer video editing, in final cut pro x, he'll dabble in adobe suite. said wants more speed , needs less storage; i.e., doesn't need main drive more 2 tb. budget not issue here, future-proofing is: don't want have upgrade long time. ram upgrade simple enough, right? head on owc , grab 24 or 32 gb of whatever goes 4,1 generation mac pro. video cards know next nothing about. don't quite understand why he's got 3 of them for; monitor 30 in. cinema display. should upgrade video card(s)? maybe raedon 5770 or 5870? feel video editing isn't gpu-intensive, if is, please tell me so. now, fun part storage. figure best solution 4 new ssd's replace 12 tb ones, , stick ssds in raid 0. question is: n...
