Broke my iPhone, replacement screen doesn't fit. Please help!

so dropped black iphone 4s (sprint) on concrete , shattered front , back.. ordered thishttp://www.amazon.com/apple-digitizer-assembled-together-replacement/dp/b0061iogfu/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top amazon, , when came in, tried installing it.

went until screwed screen in, , on back, fatter ribbon cable seemed fit fine, skinnier 1 not long enough, no matter how tugging , pulling wouldn't stretch , wasn't long enough... asked replacement, haven't gotten response yet... ended ripping skinnier cable got frustrating...

can give insight this? why wasn't long enough? white / black iphone 4s' have different ribbon cable lengths? cause may have recieved at&t screen when have sprint? i'm confused, frustrated, , phone-less @ least rest of week.. though guys...

i'm 99% sure when pushed ribbons digitizer , lcd through opening in metal frame folded on top of itself. has happened me twice. there chance damaged ribbon if got far assembling phone completely.

also, of ****ing screens total ****. i've received janky-ass ones yosir. other 1%.

being "tech guy" of house, brother has requested upgrade 4,1 mac pro. has: 2 x 2.26 quad-core xenons 12 gb ram 3 x geforce gt 120 4 x 2 tb hdd's in software raid 10 80 gb ssd in 1 of optical bays boot disk. uses computer video editing, in final cut pro x, he'll dabble in adobe suite. said wants more speed , needs less storage; i.e., doesn't need main drive more 2 tb. budget not issue here, future-proofing is: don't want have upgrade long time. ram upgrade simple enough, right? head on owc , grab 24 or 32 gb of whatever goes 4,1 generation mac pro. video cards know next nothing about. don't quite understand why he's got 3 of them for; monitor 30 in. cinema display. should upgrade video card(s)? maybe raedon 5770 or 5870? feel video editing isn't gpu-intensive, if is, please tell me so. now, fun part storage. figure best solution 4 new ssd's replace 12 tb ones, , stick ssds in raid 0. question is: n...
