hi,
i'm on steep learning curve of trying head round logic. first time i've attempted music production new me, including terminology.
i'm struggling @ moment trying find right sounds drum kit , synth sounds etc. example can't find kind of synth sounds want riff/melody. honest, can't find close. case of manipulating sounds in logic library, or have find additional sounds somewhere? trouble is, when looking additional sounds can find loops rather sounds can b used logic instruments such esx24.
can more sounds/patches instruments esx24, , if can find these?
also, logic have software inbuilt allows remove audio frequencies tracks. example have acapella, on last part of vocals there's piano on top , want remove piano. can done in logic? if not, there free/cheap software available can this?
cheers
hello snerkler,
welcome logic family!
well, concerning questions there are several ways answer them. on 1 hand can try, did, find preset loop library , hope preset fits needs. way, if work presets, have tried use preset sounds available channel strip? have click first slot on channel strip few seconds , drop down menu show several opportunities sounds including reverb compressor , on choose from.
on other hand preset sounds basis , sound preset...that's nothing bad, preset doesn't sound customised , unique i'd try play around presets. open synths used in particular preset , change settings attach, release, sustain etc. quick results while doing this.
can buy different sound libraries, other software instruments , on. check google "software instruments" or check out www.native-instruments.com 1 little spot on big world map of sound libraries. mind, real analogue synth or real drums better using software based sound that's book in library
!
make sounds disappear can use eqs or noise gates included impossible make sounds disappear completely.
let me know how advance!!
cheers sunny northern germany!
