has anyone tried a SSD as your boot drive?

has tried ssd boot drive? hear faster, perhaps not have long lifespan. solid state drives new me, i'm hoping history them can speak experience.

insight appreciated. thanks!

hey man! it's great in market ssd , totally understand concern on life span. turns out ssd has smaller chance of failing on due fact there no moving parts inside. ssd depending on use give it, can last around 5 + years :)

have 4 ssds , have had them 3 years , havent had problems whatsoever. myself, use these boot operating systems. not storage due smaller capacity. mechanical drive has higher chance die or fail on sooner ssd. if have $$$, go it. use toshiba, samsung, , owc ssds.

hope helped you,
feel free hit me if have questions. i'd more happy discuss little more :):apple:
