for looking information on drive, installed sandisk extreme 240gb model last night , works fine. macbook pro late 2011 13.3 i5 model.
in prep downloaded latest updates, did repair permissions on original drive took time machine backup. next rebooted using repair partition , hooked sandisk drive using usb caddy. partitioned drive , did restore original mac drive sandisk, using disk utility. swapped them on , started up. initial start sandisk extreme took longer expected - around 30 seconds. once running, restarted , time took ~ 10 secs boot up. subsequent boots have remained same think initial boot system recognising there physically new system drive in place.
drive had older firmware on downloaded latest r210 fw iso sandisk site , burned blank cdr using disk utility. booted mac , updated drive latest firmware , confirmed after reboot.
drive offers speedy performance, negotiates @ link 6gb speed trim working fine. not single issue far , apps loading instantly - bigger apps such itunes, photoshop & lightroom loading in single bounce on dock. others don't chance bounce.

edit: 1 dabs doing 3gbps, since mbp has got 1.5gbps that's not problem won't 6gbps mbps
