Calling all photographers who own MBA

just quick question photographers out there:

i'm flying out week saturday photograph wildlife in belarus. don't want take old 15" mbp me weighs quite bit, given i'll have 600mm , several camera bodies in bag well.

so, i'd purchase mba. me being me, i've left late i'm stuck being able buy stock model apple store on next 2 days.

photographers out there use 11" mba stock i6 , 4gb ram model? need know if it'll powerful enough light editing of raw files 16mp nikon d4, , 36mp d800.

know aren't far off refresh , smart move might lug old 2009 mbp me love not have carry 1.5kg of weight in hand luggage if can it!!

so want buy new laptop, install software , make sure it's working right in few days left before trip?

suggestion go in apple store , test photo editing (iphoto or aperture) on both the 11" , 13" airs in store. other thing consider size of ssd. want enough room on store pictures take on trip. (for me 1 of 2 copies make of memory cards before reusing them in camera.)
