ok, purchased logitech ultrathin keyboard ipad 3 , impressed it's ultra thin sleek , compact design, feel of keys, , sheer ease when typing. able adjust smaller keys , type fast on apple bt keyboard, , little or no errors. love how logitech kb magnetically attaches ipad same way apple smart cover (including triggering ipad sleep/awake feature), , contrary read other reviews, magnet stronger expected, both when carrying magnetically paired units around, when pulling pair out of 10" waterfield muzetto bag , ipad+logitech keyboard don't inadvertantly detach, nor accidently trigger ipad's sleep awake function either.
said, there remains one issue
remains concern: high potential scratches ocurring on exposed aluminum back, on both ipad, logitech ultrathin. unfortunately, logitech ultrathin keyboard's ipad "magnetic slot" (which holds ipad when typing) able accomodate holding "naked" ipad, everytime want use keyboard, must remember remove
ipad 3's protective cover (incase mag snap).
1 solution prevent scratching aluminum on ipad install ipad "skin", i'm guessing thin enough still allow ipad fit (and adequate magnetic strength) in logitech keyboard's channel slot when in typing mode. there logitech utrathin keyboard owners here skin installed on ipad can confirm setup works? if so, brand/model ipad skin (or cover) using?
leads me finding solution prevent scratches on aluminum of logitech ultrathin keyboard. answer appears self evident: finding ipad skin manufacterer willing produce transparent skin designed logitech ultrathin keyboard. here know if 1 available or in works?
advice , feedback appreciated.
i picked zagg folio maybe considering returning product because use ipad naked around house. hate having take ipad out time. what's stopping me issue scared about. have invisible shield installed on front , of ipad. how sure how work keyboard though.
hmm decisions, decisions..
