Help! No audio on .m4v files after I encoded them!
hello,
downloaded videos onto macbook pro (running lion) sd card. videos not play on mac, played (with audio) on pc, right clicked on videos , encoded them play. after that, played, there no audio. don't know codecs, i'm guessing i'm missing audio one? if me out great! have mediainfo screenshot of 1 of videos..

m4v container in case contains mpeg-4 video file no audio files.
original sd files from: video cam?
play video & audio on pc, when "right click" on them...; in pc? , encode them; what?
in event go here , download perian on macbookpro , original files should play in quicktime:
perian v1.2.3
if not, google handbrake , download wonderful program , transcode original files using regular-normal default encoding set, play in quicktime audio on mbp.
or, google videolan mac , download player should play original files.
