Internal battery expansion

has ever taken out optical drive , replaced space expansion battery/custom battery cells?

saw recent thread on macbook air forums guy made diy external battery using battery pack , ac adapter, i'm wondering if it's possible battery cells , stuff space optical drive is.

there guy on xda took apart original asus transformer keyboard dock , added harddrive , trying expand battery well. viable?
 

if it's been done before it's "possible" not "viable." not stuff non-standard battery computer of kind.

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
