i have macbook (http://everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook/specs/macbook_2.0_black.html, 2006 model) , having strange issues airport card.
1 day of sudden wasn't able connect wireless network. after connecting iphone , xbox360 knew wasn't problem router. restarted computer, checked settings on firewall yet still couldn't see network (or network @ all) listed. every , then, network appear when attempt connect times out. determined isn't hardware issues. i've reseated airport card , made sure wires connected correctly. still, no wireless. went ahead , did fresh install of 10.6.8 didn't solve problem either. went /library/preferences/systemconfiguration , deleted .plist files associated airport , network settings..still didn't work. did restart , of sudden able see network , connect, after 10 minutes lost signal , square one. did nvram reset did nothing. removed battery , reseated it.. nothing. today, turned computer on , able see network , connect without issues.
has else had problem before? if so, did permanently fix it. have fingers crossed stay connected, figured should make post , input too.
thanks.

i'm not sure how i'm going be, i'll give shot. i'm not incredibly tech savvy, i've been having similar issues, why i'm here.
i've done in past when airport has failed reset, i've been told, pram holding command+option+p+r when computer booting up. hold down buttons until see gray screen second time. let go. that's solved problems, i'm reaching point need quite frequently. i'm not sure if said you've tried that...
