Changing default applications on Mac

hi guys,

there way change quicktime default program videos program of choice? watch lot of avi. coded movies , helpful if set program ran them open when click them.

don't bother quicktime. once mountain lion comes out, perian obsolete. without perian, avi files won't work in quicktime. associate them vlc or instead.

hate saying since adore quicktime x guess need move on. :(

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
