help with second payed video project

i filmed in full 1080 p 2 hour baseball game edited in fcp x multi cam. rendered out product around 22 gigs, there chance compress video 4-5 gigs while retaining of quality?

multi camera footage put put on disk 8.5 gb dual layer disk, along 2-3 minute highlights of game.

a couple questions: dual layer disk meant played in dvd player or storing (burning) file on it, on flash drive? have compressor 4 installed? i'll try answer of questions..

can compress 22gb file down 4-5gb while retaining ~98% quality. can done compressor or free applications handbrake. (compressor 4 recommended if plan on doing lot of work). if video meant played on dvd in movie format don't have use 4-5gb file source dvd encoding, you're better off using full size 22gb file fit onto disc using mpeg-2 encoding. if plan on going route helps have compressor 4 not required. can choose "dvd" 1 of share options inside fcp x share menu. make sure you're sharing project containing video meant dvd. follow on screen instructions title dvd, etc , click 'burn'.
here's compressor route (recommended): drag exported prores 422 file compressor 4 window, , presets under disc burning drag mpeg-2 dvd , dolby digital professional onto movie object in compressor apply settings. click on mpeg-2 setting , in inspector click on "quality". change quality 2 pass vbr best. leave dolby digital professional alone. click on gray area under settings on movie in compressor , in inspector go "job action" , choose create dvd. can set title, choose whether dvd "plays automatically" or "go menu" when inserted. can set background if choose. submit job , viola!

here's how reduce filesize while retaining quality using compressor 4: drag exported file (use pro res 422 export format) compressor window. use 1 of default settings "1080p video sharing". go inspector, click on "settings" video , adjust "automatic" quality "best". go sound "settings" , use high quality compressed format aac variable bit rate (vbr) set "best" quality. after save these settings "submit" job , compressor produce high quality file "originalfilename-1080p video sharing" can put on external storage , deliver client or archives.
