i'm not going trawl , try , find articles, unless have to, i'll assume of here understand
ipad1 has slow wifi speeds, due apple, channels , number of antenna's, making ipad's wifi, 1 say, bit on cheap.
boasted n class device, kind of fudging truth little due physical design not run @ full n speeds 1 mac or windows laptop or desktop on wireless.
known , documented, if have find articles again explain all.
so, knowing this, question:
on ipad3 have apple sorted out , has latest ipad been build/improved/fixed? run @ consider full wireless n speeds other devices run at.
or apple still, crippling it's wifi speed due design?
here little bit of text relation apple's, ahem, playing standards mean ipad1 model:
apple's technical specifications ipad dual-band (2.4 ghz , 5 ghz) 802.11n supported. , is. apple doesn't tell version of 802.11n built in ipad such no speed improvement on 802.11g or 802.11a.
understand what's going on ipad's mediocre 802.11n design, have understand little bit goes in 802.11n. there 3 802.11n improvements bump maximum data rate 54 mbps had 802.11a/g: more efficient (5/6 instead of 3/4) ofdm coding, double-wide (40 mhz instead of 20 mhz) channels , mimo antenna systems (for spatial multiplexing). (and yes, realize short guard interval can improve data rates, let's pretend live in world there legacy a/b/g device sharing our bss.) let's talk each of these things individually , whether ipad supports them.
from same article red text:
in case, it's spelled 'troll' not 'trawl'. @ smear job have in post, trying imply ipad's wifi 'broken' or has kind of problem:
you don't understand article you've linked, either. joke.
