RAM & Online Video

so.... sm new mac world. yes new. have had several apple products, first mac. not know how have not had 1 these years!:confused:

have late 2011 macbook pro 15 not took out of it's package on wednesday.

has 4 gigs or ram, , apple saying can updrade 8. can not go 16 on setup? also, ram people selling on ebay different can buy @ apple , installing ram myself void warranties?

2nd issue, while trying watch online videos, "video not available" error lot, or macbook wants download video before watching , video in format not recognized play.

the 2012 macbook pro's can utilize 16gb of ram , if replace yourself, not void warranty. best place buy reliable ram crucial.com (they sell ssd's , m4 ssd's super cheap on amazon, that's besides point) , 1 of cheapest places buy it. not void warranty replacing either hard drive, either. hope helps!

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
