iPad Dashboard X Fixes

i've been seeing many people have been having trouble dashboard x not on macrumors, on many other websites. put quick dashboard x fix "guide" having issues:

issue: "i installed dashboard x, stuck in endless safe mode boot loop."

solution: "in safe mode, go dashboard x app , open up. navigate enabled widgets (both of them) , hit edit button. delete 'null'. after edit these, device should respring , dashboard x should work."


issue: "while adding widgets springboard, went safe mode."

solution: "try respringing once, , see if works. if not, use above mentioned method see if enabled widgets 'null'. if not, delete of dashboard x widgets in cydia enabled prior crash (start 1 last added). continue until device out of safe mode. note: after respring, can reinstall widgets. if method not work, uninstall dashboard x out of safe mode.


issue: "my keyboard laggy."

solution: "chances have nyan cat widget installed. uninstall widget , install nc nyan cat, , put in notification center if must have nyan cat


issue: "i rejailbroke device after installing dashboard x widgets, , dashboard x won't work when did before."

solution: "see first solution."


issue: "my springboard continuously respringing randomly."

solution: "you have many widgets installed on springboard. delete (especially ones nyan cat increase chances of crashes)."


issue: "the music player widget has controls on end of widget in portrait-- looks weird."

solution: "simply turn ipad landscape , portrait-- fixed (until respring/ reboot)."


issue: "i can't install widgets cydia store-- keep getting errors."

solution: "go changes section , hit reload. let load (could take while). go multitasking , kill cydia. open , repeat once more. try downloading now. if not working, keep on trying download-- should work."

as going dashboard x , toggling widgets, none of widgets installed show there. it's weird. had widgets, not listed. none of them were.


, last issue, if tap on categories tab, tap dashboard x addons, see widgets. trying download of them results in 404 forbidden errors. on , on again. , cydia store date sources loaded.
