[UK] Education discount on AppleCare changed

hi all,

got meadowhall apple store after bit of pain apples apparently un-noticed change applecare discount education store valid purchases.

normally, can expect ~80% discount on applecare through education store, told when went pick rmbp changed 30%!!

normally, cheap @ £50, £180-190 me add-on.

luckily, i'd called education store 10days prior, had quote in email inbox call showed rep (and manager) , honoured it.

difference in total being in excess of £200 more exact same products
- rmbp base model
- applecare warranty
- £70 gift card school promotion

thought i'd let know when rep told me, , went manager, googled , couldn't find them reducing discount on ac

total final price = £1590

if order online via education store can 3 year warranty free in essence cutting out need buying applecare.
