hello all,
new macs. have purchased mac os x desktop , final cut pro x. make semi-professional documentary. know if has recommendation quality mac / fcp x compatible camera (under $1000). best if recommendation personal experience. mac website has list of compatible cameras information overload. friend recommended one:
http://www.amazon.com/canon-hf100-d...162k/ref=sr_1_1?ie=utf8&qid=1338386314&sr=8-1
suggestions or advice? thank in advance.... joe
not jumping on case or anything, asking camera recommendations work w/ fcpx asking car compatible gasoline. pretty anything.
issue, depth of field want? want "cinema" feel? want large focal lengths? plan on recording continuous shots? under 1k, i'd recommend dslr (t3i or wait t4i). might able find decent used camcorders, decent camcorder looking @ least 1.5k used. have them can correct me.
personally, use t2i , couple of friends also. friend part of job smaller design firm uses t3i. want , fits needs. when need "big boy" camcorder, rent. otherwise got boom, lighting, reflectors, etc.... i'd used t2i if you. used it, comfortable in understanding how works, few jobs, them upgrade 7d or 5dmii or heck, save camcorder. if go dslr route, make sure have external audio recorder. i've used tascam dr-100 , works great, paired w/ boom mic of course.
