screen sizing on MBPR: also on other macs ?

hi,

think new screen sizing/scaling tool used on macbook pro retina quite interesting:

available on other macs ? example, supposing have mac mini hooked 1280x1024 screen (i know, it's old one). use in simulated 1600x1200 mode osx rendering , downscaling native resolution of screen (like simulated 1680x1050 mode on mbpr).

possible ? if yes, osx version ?

hmm, seems nobody knows this. can imagine, it's quite new feature :)

question: possible upgrade snow leopard moutain lion directly, or should lion first ?

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
