Non-Boot HDD falling asleep

hi guys,
2010 mac pro quad 2.8.

1st hard drive: 120gb ssd (boot/apps)
2nd/3rd hard drive: 2 x 1tb wd black caviar (raid 0)

think mac pro has feature put unused harddrives sleep when not in use. doesnt work when open example, itunes (stored on non-boot hdd), , have wait 10 secs 2nd/3rd hdds start up, able play content then.

same goes with:
- iphoto
- final cut
- stored on non-boot hdd

know how around this? (apart obvious.. putting files onto boot hdd).

i'm looking solution keep unused hods powered on, @ times.

always, heaps :d

system preferences > energy saver uncheck put hard drives sleep when possible.
