under "send & receive" shows apple id email address , when tap on it, shows both email address , phone number there check mark next email address , not phone number , won't let me check mark phone number well. find odd since under similar menu in facetime settings both check marked.

mean phone sending imessages out using apple id email address? or number not checked marked since coming iphone , defaulted send using number , check marks email address want use imessage?
again said before reasons puzzled because under facetime settings both check marked , still says "waiting on activation."
update: used mom's iphone , deleted contact , conversation out of phone , tried sending message phone phone , showed coming apple id email , not phone number!
give time, tried same thing today , had same issues, no longer select phone number , imessages sending email instead of phone number. reset phone couple of times, , after hour changed , worked normal, number came on ipad well.
