After 10.7.4 install, ZERO upload bandwidth. Coincidence?

wondering if bad coincidence...installed 10.7.4 on friday. same day, upload bandwidth has dropped zero. i've got roadrunner wideband, , download speed still near 50 mbps, upload test hangs , gives me 0.08 mbps after ten minutes. simple photo upload facebook takes hour, before took seconds.

rebooted modem & router, tried direct ethernet modem macbook pro, same issue. ran clamxav, no viruses.

called time warner (useless) , spoke 3 techs, escalating tomorrow them. ideas? wondering if have update, timing same. help.
 

i seem remember upload being faster (around 12) before 10.7.4 update (which got yesterday evening) perhaps on here. of course we're dealing comcast here variability more problem result of i'm doing or apple might doing.

have tried real world tests uploading file via ftp? these benchmarks faked out sending modest amounts of data way can tell if upload working try uploading file. btw, if upload zero, couldn't reply forum post. sayin'...

btw, noticed mentioned slow upload facebook. try few different sites , see if faster others. when i've had "network" issues, rebooting cable modem or having comcast hit fresh docsis download cured problem. long term cure getting airport extreme base station. once did that, modem/router resets went more twice month less once year.

being "tech guy" of house, brother has requested upgrade 4,1 mac pro. has: 2 x 2.26 quad-core xenons 12 gb ram 3 x geforce gt 120 4 x 2 tb hdd's in software raid 10 80 gb ssd in 1 of optical bays boot disk. uses computer video editing, in final cut pro x, he'll dabble in adobe suite. said wants more speed , needs less storage; i.e., doesn't need main drive more 2 tb. budget not issue here, future-proofing is: don't want have upgrade long time. ram upgrade simple enough, right? head on owc , grab 24 or 32 gb of whatever goes 4,1 generation mac pro. video cards know next nothing about. don't quite understand why he's got 3 of them for; monitor 30 in. cinema display. should upgrade video card(s)? maybe raedon 5770 or 5870? feel video editing isn't gpu-intensive, if is, please tell me so. now, fun part storage. figure best solution 4 new ssd's replace 12 tb ones, , stick ssds in raid 0. question is: n...
