Stumped by inability to open URLs

i have friend in distant state whom imessage urls once in while, pretty straightforward stuff, news sites or youtube or like. she gets imessages on iphone 4s, unable open urls.

perhaps there setting on iphone not set or...mis-set, haven't clue advise do. additional software package needed can download?

have no problem these urls on iphone 4s.

can open tiny url or full version without problem. can't open either.

ask reboot phone. press , hold home , power button until sees apple logo.

won't lose data or anything.

fixes mild glitches iphone. i've had strange things happen. matter yesterday volume buttons stopped working, simple reset fixed somehow.

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
