Most bang for my buck? RAM or processor?

hi everyone,

i'm going making purchase on 1 of new 13" 256gb mba's when next pay day hits, , wondering 1 of configurable upgades (can't afford both) give noticeable speed difference, , provide future proofing.

should opt 2.0 ghz i7 (up 1.8 i5 - £120 extra) or 8gb ram (up 4bg - £80 extra)?

work in tv production out on road working on multiple documents, researching using plenty of active tabs in safari, running itunes, twitter, mail, skype, dropbox, bowtie etc.

needing lot of transferring of footage cf cards via card reader external drives (yay usb 3!).

outside of work bit of photo editing in aperture, noting professional, odd polish , tweak here , there. nice have option when i'm mobile, can on imac if heavy lifting air.

advice appreciated. :)

thanks!

in case, ram sure. given low price of both, i'd save cash , both. not getting 512gb ssd...
