Macbook Air (2012) performance w/ external display

i'm considering getting 2012 mba 13" main computer. problem that not enough me, having desktop doesn't sound intriguing compromise i'm thinking getting thunderbolt display operate display plus dock have more desktop experience.

did research , have few questions. andatech did great review on tbd ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=8z7rxvkqf5i ). overall seems good, reviewer said times felt little bit sluggish because air (it 2011, intel hd3000) doesn't have enough gpu power operate such highres display.

how difference 2012 update hd4000 make? have experience on this?

don't want buy 999 € display see new 1 come in couple of months w/ usb3 , whatnot, ideas of they're gonna update tbd summer/fall?
 

i did proposed, , arrived today! :d

sat here now, 2012 1.8/128/8gb air, connected new thunderbolt display.

im coming 24" 2.16 c2d imac 3gb ram, , obvious big upgrade.

ive not tested yet, still setting up, air quick, , handling display no problems @ all. bit concerned having adapter (the magsafe>magsafe2 one), hardly noticeable.

had same concerns new display coming out, honest, think retina @ size long way off, , monitor sits hardly seems necessary. regards usb3, still have usb3 port on air, if desperate one, can still use that.

ATV3 5.1 channel ?

no service after redsnow jailbreaking
