Best Range with 6 Airport Extremes or 6 wireless access points??

i have house has 16 rooms, approx 20,000 square feet, 2 floors, has ethernet wired 6 of rooms. there main rack in centre of house on ground floor broadband coming in through bt adsl. walls in house thick.*

have tried devolo homeplugs , not working good. have decided wireless access points way go.

router netgear dgnd3700 attached netgear 8 port gigabit switch. 6 wired ethernet connections going straight switch , 6 of rooms around house.

have single wireless network covering whole house , garden area.*

can install 6 airport extremes around house wired ethernet connections there , creating 1 ssid, using same ssid access points same password?

looking @ using netgear wndrmac routers access points, im not sure now. appreciate if has better solution?

have single wireless printer needs connected wireless access points. have pc's, macs, iphones, ipads need able print from.

1 extreme, 5 expresses

i'd recommend creating network airport extreme, , using airport expresses extend network. if can, hard wire them ethernet you've got going through house stronger signal. way you'll have 1 large network same name , password.

1 thing note, had problems when express close extreme. think there lot of cross talk between two. worked fine when further apart.

on second thought, depending on needs, might fine expresses. read on each of different features , see you'll need hooking printers, hard drives, , speakers.
