long story short, got amex card yesterday in hopes of billing rmbp extended warranty stuff , purchase protection. well, rmbp billed , shipped on weekend. after 30 minutes on phone apple, refusing rebill new credit card.
so, i'm left option of returning , repurchasing new one.
question: i've never done applecare, have personal articles policy through state farm that's been incredibly me on years (no questions asked replacement of $1500 dslr when knocked on tripod , shattered screen, no deductible, , $30 year w/ our homeowners insurance). going amex coverage in case sf didn't cover something.
planning on using 6 months of 0% apr slow pay thing off, i've got 2 computers i'm selling , take time.
so, worth it? i'm frustrated after customer service reps talked too. understand issue, seems double billing amex until went through , refunding chase totally doable (and said was, not in case).
if ordered rmbp today, i'd out laptop few days if (if hit new 2 week shipping mark).
